Over-all, the content is very well done but there is an expectation that the viewer has a very basic idea of iPad use.  If you really have no real idea of the iPad
or iPhone methods of use – it might take you viewing a video a couple of times to master the concept.

Be sure to check out Pete’s iPad Video Lessons, and come back here to post your comments about it. I’d love to hear your feedback on her report.

Best of Luck!

Remove Some of the iPad Mystery With a Few Tips!

Ipad

So, you have made the investment in an iPad and you have found it pretty easy to use but there are some things that somehow you are supposed to just “magically” know….To save you some trial and error and maybe a little frustration, I thought I would pass along some tips and tricks that may be helpful.

Try out these iPad tricks…

Tip #1 – Perform a Soft Reset

To perform a soft reset on your iPad just hold the top (power) and bottom (home) button for a few seconds and your iPad will restart. If you find the need to force quit an application – hold the home button by itself.

Tip #2 – Fast and Easy Mute

All you need to do is hold the volume button down for about two seconds and your iPad will mute.

Tip #3 – Can’t Watch 1080P HD Videos? Downrez Them!

Have you found out that the iPad cannot play 1080P videos? In fact, iTunes won’t even let you copy ‘em to the iPad! There is an easy fix; just Downrez them to 720P.

Tip #4 – Preview Multiple Lines of Your Mail

The iPad is set to preview your mail on two lines but did you know that you can set it to preview more? How do you do it? Go to Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calendars and select “5 lines” under Preview – that should do the trick!
